Well, if you don't already have an LX-i or SE-i your car has a small front sway bar and no rear sway bar.
The DX/LX already has the necessary hardware to upgrade the front sway bar with an LX-i one. However, you will need to change the mounting bushings because the sway bar has a bigger diameter
Here's the front bars, the one to the left is the SE-i. Notice how big the bar is compared to the DX/LX
I also suggest that you replace the end bushings when you change the sway bar. The old bushings are surely worn out. Here's mine:
This is basicaly Plug&Play, everything is the same except the bar is bigger.
Now for the rear sway bar
You will need the following things to install the bar on your DX/LX: The bar, the endlink and the bracket.
All the Accord come with the pre drilled holes to install the hardware.
Hole in the trailing arm: This is to install the bolt for the sway bad end-link:
Holes in the crossmember for the mounting bracket
You must attach the Sway bar to the mounting bracket like this
Then, you fix the endlink to the bar and the trailing arm.
Voila you're done.
When installing the sway bars, the first side is always easy to install because there is no tension yet on the bar, when you do the other side, bring some prying tool because you won't be able to move the bar where you want it to with your own arms and then attach the parts. Raising both sides of the car at the same time reduces that problem alot.
After driving my car, the feeling is much stiffer, the car leans much less in the curves. the rear sway bar does it's job wuite well even if it's tiny. An upgraded bar would be nice but since I had no bar at all, it's much of an improvement.
