It's a known fact for 86-89 Accord owners and mechanics that the carburettor form these cars is really a mess to work with. There are just too many vacuum lines in there. The car also lacks power over it's PGM-Fi sister. I thought about converting my car over to PGM-Fi for a long time but didn't have the guts to do it. I finally did it this summer. Beleive me. this is NOT an easy task and should be left to the experienced. However, the benefits it will give you far outcome the trouble you will have.
